ALIKO DANGOTE: 2014 Forbes African Person of The Year


Big Congrats to Nigeria’s richest man and mega entrepreneur Aliko Dangote as he’s been named the Forbes Person of The Year. He beat out fellow Nigerian Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie & 3 others for the awards. 


The other finalists were Arunma Oteh (Nigeria) the director-general of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thuli Madonsela (South Africa) and Donald Kaberuka (Rwanda) President of the African Development Bank.

The award was announced in Nairobi, Kenya and in his speech he dedicated the award to Nigeria, and indicated how proud he is that he’s African.
Nigerian billionaire, Aliko Dangote has been named the Forbes Africa ‘Person of the Year 2014′.
Dangote, who’s the richest person in Africa, received the award on Thursday, December 4, 2014 in Nairobi, Kenya.
The billionaire was listed among notable nominees like author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Director-General of Nigeria’s Securities & Exchange Commission, Arunma Oteh but emerged the winner.
